This role requires a strong functional understanding of recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes, hands-on HR technology experience, and a collaborative mindset to help ensure the successful delivery of system initiatives aligned with departmental strategies.

This role partners closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Technology, vendors, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective and scalable system solutions, and will contribute to the continued digital evolution of New York Life's recruiting and onboarding technology while supporting a high-performing HRIS function.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support the effective delivery and ongoing administration of SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding and the Eightfold Talent Acquisition platform, ensuring systems align with business needs and user expectations.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and other HR COEs to gather and interpret business requirements, provide systems expertise, and translate requirements into feasible and scalable technology solutions.
  • Perform system configuration, testing, and implementation of enhancements and fixes within established governance and change-control processes.
  • Serve as an HRIS resource for recruiting and onboarding technology, providing guidance on system functionality, capabilities, and potential solutions.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with internal Technology teams, SAP SuccessFactors, Eightfold, and other external vendors as appropriate.
  • Support integrations and data flows across recruiting, onboarding, core HR, and related systems, partnering with technical resources to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Support the planning, testing, and implementation of SuccessFactors releases, upgrades, and enhancements, assessing potential impacts to Recruiting and Onboarding processes and coordinating with stakeholders and testers.
  • Support Eightfold Talent Acquisition releases and enhancements, evaluate new capabilities, and partner with Talent Acquisition to identify opportunities to improve recruiter, hiring manager, and candidate experiences.
  • Participate in vendor meetings, product forums, user groups, and feedback sessions to stay informed on SuccessFactors and Eightfold product roadmaps and emerging capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration workbooks, testing materials, process documentation, and end-user support materials.
  • Analyze system and process issues across the recruiting and onboarding lifecycle and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, user experience, and operational effectiveness.
  • Use Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies to identify opportunities to simplify and improve Talent Acquisition and onboarding processes through technology.
  • Collaborate with other HRIS team members on cross-module functionality and issues, particularly where Recruiting, Onboarding, and Eightfold processes intersect with Employee Central or other SuccessFactors modules.
  • Consider how AI and emerging technology capabilities, including capabilities available through Eightfold and SuccessFactors, can improve Talent Acquisition processes and the flow of work.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of HRIS, HR Technology, or related experience, preferably supporting recruiting and/or onboarding technology. Strong hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and/or Onboarding.
  • Experience with Eightfold Talent Acquisition strongly preferred; experience with a comparable Talent Acquisition technology platform will also be considered.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors Story Reports, including the ability to run, interpret, and support reporting needs related to Recruiting and Onboarding.
  • Strong functional understanding of Talent Acquisition, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding business processes.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into system solutions, configurations, and workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience with system configuration, testing, user acceptance testing, releases, and production support.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system and process issues, analyze multiple sources of information, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Talent Acquisition, HR COEs, Technology teams, and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with limited guidance.
