Job Description

The HRIS Manager will play a crucial role in supporting people and compliance decision‑making processes as well as generally supporting the home office Talent & Culture team. This role will act as an internal consultant to various departments to support the operations of Auberge Resorts Collection through ongoing analysis and reporting. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing HR systems, analyzing and interpreting data for trends and to ensure compliance (401(k), compensation, payroll, ACA, etc.). This individual will lead and support home office and property leaders with comprehensive reporting, systems training and guidance to improve overall results and growth, including supporting new property openings and transitions.

Core Responsibilities - HRIS
  • Build and maintain all aspects of the HRIS systems across the collection, including but not limited to leave management, benefits, recruitment, learning and performance management and maintain all import and export files from our HRIS system
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
  • Develop, document, and maintain current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance
  • Generate, develop, and analyze HRIS reports to provide insights and support data‑driven decision‑making by Talent & Culture and organizational leadership including managing performance scorecard excellence
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving user inquiries and system‑related issues while managing the HRIS ticketing system
  • Provide training and create materials to support Talent & Culture team members and end‑users on HRIS functionality and processes
  • Conduct system testing, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure data accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to internal policies
  • Support the HRIS RFP process for a potential platform transition in 2027/2028
  • Support the roll‑out of a company wide compensation tool in 2025/2026
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Must possess good integrity and business judgment, team orientation, goal orientation, with high personal productivity skills
  • Work with a sense of urgency in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent organization skills with a high attention to detail across multiple projects
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively balance multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities, then communicate effectively to manage expectations
  • Ability to embrace a team‑player role with other departments, demonstrate initiative, and ownership of projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to represent Auberge both internally and externally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex analytical topics to a wide audience who may or may not be familiar with analytics or the subject matter
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (strong proficiency with Excel)
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish language preferred
  • Takes a guest service‑oriented approach to responding to requests and questions (must be able to effectively prioritize phone calls, in person, and email inquiries while also completing regular tasks)
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external contacts
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong organizational/management, communication, collaboration skills and results orientation required.
  • Strong computer skills are required
  • Prior experience implementing new HR systems, Ceridian Dayforce experience preferred
Travel Requirements
  • Ability to travel to hotels and resorts, as required
  • Infrequent travel to industry conferences

The HRIS Manager offers a base salary range of $120,000-$150,000 plus a comprehensivemedical, dental, vision and voluntary benefits, 401k employer match, employer paid life insurance, employee assistance program and a team member hotel stay program.
