Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a Senior HRIS Workday Analyst to deliver functional Workday expertise across HR processes such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting. You will configure, test, validate, and support Workday changes while collaborating with HR stakeholders and technology partners.
The role requires 5+ years in Workday or a comparable HRIS, a bachelor’s degree, strong data analysis, and excellent communication.

This position provides functional Workday expertise and support across assigned HR processes, including business process configuration, system maintenance and troubleshooting, testing, reporting, recurring processes, and functional enhancements. The role partners with HR team stakeholders and technology partners to understand business needs, translate requirements into effective Workday solutions, maintain data integrity, and improve the reliability and efficiency of HR processes. The position independently manages functional assignments within supported Workday areas, solves complex system and process issues using established practices and informed judgment, and serves as a resource to stakeholders and colleagues. The role may lead defined Workday enhancements or small to medium‑size functional initiatives and escalates matters requiring specialized technical expertise, significant cross‑functional design decisions, or broader system strategy.
Provide day-to-day functional support for Workday, independent troubleshooting system and business process issues, performing root‑cause analysis, developing solutions, and coordinating escalation of issues requiring specialized technical expertise or broader design decisions.
Configure, test, validate, and implement approved Workday business process and functional changes within assigned areas, which may include HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Performance, Compensation, Recruiting, and other supported processes.
Support recurring and annual HR processes, including open enrollment, performance, compensation, payroll, and other scheduled cycles, with responsibility for assigned configuration, validation, testing, issue resolution, and implementation activities.
Partner with HR team stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate business needs into Workday business processes, reports, dashboards, calculated fields, or configuration solutions within assigned functional scope.
Evaluate functional requirements and existing processes, identify dependencies and downstream impacts, and recommend solutions that balance business needs, system capabilities, data integrity, and established standards.
Create and maintain Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and related analytics to support business, operational, audit, and decision‑making needs.
Monitor system and data integrity through regular audits and analysis of transactions and activity; investigate identified issues, determine root causes, and implement or coordinate approved corrective actions.
Participate in Workday release management activities by evaluating relevant functionality, assessing potential business impact, conducting functional and regression testing, documenting results, and supporting implementation of approved changes.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes, Workday functionality, data quality, controls, and the employee or manager experience; develop recommendations and implement approved improvements within assigned scope.
Lead or contribute to defined Workday enhancements and small to medium‑size functional initiatives, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and implementation.
Develop and maintain user procedures, functional documentation, testing materials, configuration documentation, and work instructions for supported processes and functionality.
Provide functional guidance to end users, HR team stakeholders, and colleagues on Workday processes, reporting, and system functionality; serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience within areas of demonstrated expertise.
Collaborate with HR team members, technology partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve functional issues, manage dependencies, and deliver Workday solutions aligned with business requirements.

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers. Employee must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of position with or without reasonable accommodation.

The base pay scale for this position in: Phoenix, AZ in USD per year is: $84,000 - $105,000. Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
