The Human Resources Specialist & Data Analytics plays a dual role in promoting a fair, compliant, and engaged workplace while leveraging HR data to drive insight-based decision-making. This role is responsible for supporting policy adherence, and conducting investigations, while also managing HR metrics, analyzing trends, and preparing reports and visual presentations for leadership.
Manage employee data within the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout employee lifecycle events, including new hires, terminations, job changes, and pay adjustments.
Collect, analyze, and interpret HR metrics, including turnover trends, absenteeism, and exit interview data.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key HR indicators, including employee engagement, compliance trends, absenteeism, and attrition.
Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to supervisors and employees on workplace conflict, performance concerns, disciplinary actions, and policy compliance.
Present findings through visual storytelling—including charts, graphs, and executive summaries—to inform leadership decisions and evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Partner with the HR team to maintain data accuracy and reporting integrity.
Manage time and attendance processes for P&M employees.
Conduct fair, thorough, and timely investigations into employee complaints, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace concerns; document findings professionally.
Collaborate with HR leadership and legal counsel to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
Support and deliver leader training on documentation, performance management, employee conduct, and related HR practices.
Maintain confidential records related to investigations, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements, including compliance audits and diversity metrics.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, or a related field required.
Two to three years of HR experience, including responsibility for HR data analysis and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to conduct workplace investigations and advise on employee relations matters.
Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and chart creation.
Experience using data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, and/or HRIS analytics modules.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to senior leadership.
High level of discretion, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

The range for this position is $51,491.00-$70,801.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
