The Duke University School of Medicine HR Service Center is seeking a Director to lead payroll, leave administration, immigration support, onboarding, and other HR transactional services across 40+ departments. You will drive scalable, compliant processes and partner with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and HR teams to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Five years of business/administrative experience with HR exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the School of Medicine HR Service Center.
• Provide strategic direction and coaching for payroll, leaves, onboarding, and immigration services.
• Develop scalable, compliant HR processes and improve service quality.
• Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and HR teams to resolve complex transactions.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and data-driven performance across the team.
