Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an HR Representative to serve as front-line support for colleagues, providing real-time, accurate responses to inquiries about HR policies and processes. The role involves processing employee transactions and assisting with onboarding and offboarding activities.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of HR or administrative experience, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with Workday.

Overview:

Human Resources Representative

The HR Representative serves as a front-line support to colleagues by providing real-time, accurate and comprehensive responses to inquiries regarding general HR-related issues, policies, procedures and processes. Processes employee related transactions accurately based on research, employee-specific information and process guidelines.

Provides real-time, accurate and comprehensive responses to telephone and written inquiries regarding general HR-related issues, policies, procedures and processes. Processes employee related transactions accurately based on research, employee-specific information and process guidelines. Assists with onboarding and offboarding processes, supports HR cyclical processes and compliance considerations. Collaborates with HR team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of employee transactions. Delivers service in a professional and efficient manner, providing prompt assistance while managing expectations to achieve high levels of consumer satisfaction. Escalates complex issues, where applicable. Maintains appropriate documentation and records for HR-related cases.

1 year of administrative or customer services experience (Required)

Certification/Licensure

Experience

• 1 year of Human Resources experience required
• Must have Pre and/or Onboarding Experience

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $22.93 - $34.97 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
