Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Program/Project Manager to partner with department leaders, directing programs that meet patient and community needs. You will manage scope, schedule, resources, and governance with cross-functional teams.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, at least one year coordinating programs, strong communication, budgeting, and project management skills, and a commitment to customer service and teamwork across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field.
  • 1 year of experience coordinating small or department programs.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and other financial skills.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, manages, and executes project scope, schedule, resources, and change management initiatives.
  • Communicates and documents project plan, status updates, business goals, and governance plan to team and stakeholders effectively.
  • Identifies and manages project risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with specialists both inside and outside the organization with assigned tasks to deliver subject matter expert activities.
  • Ensures project deliverables are on time, high quality, and on budget.
  • Responsible for all aspects of managing and leading a team including interviewing, hiring, training, developing, directing work and processes, managing performance, recognizing, and rewarding employees.
  • Mentor team members to encourage personal and professional growth.
  • Encourage ongoing skill development by providing opportunities for continued education.
