Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to administer and perform human resources/payroll functions to the community in accordance with current acceptable accounting principles relating to operations, state and federal regulations, and as directed by the Administrator. Assist with recruitment, onboarding and retention of employees. In addition, you will accurately maintain the community nursing staff schedules. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration, Human Resources and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience in Payroll and/or HR Administration
  • Must possess a working knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning payroll/personnel administration in nursing care facilities, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, Workers' compensation & unemployment
  • Must possess intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate through HRIS software
  • Must be able to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Previous experience with scheduling preferred but not required
