We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to support our payroll and benefits operations for a workforce of approximately 250+ employees. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone with hands-on payroll experience who is looking to grow within a stable team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing payroll for 250+ employees
• Review and adjust employee timesheets for accuracy and compliance
• Support payroll deposits (experience is a plus)
• Assist with open enrollment activities and employee benefits support
• Handle month-end medical billing processes
• Respond to payroll and timekeeping-related inquiries

Qualifications

• Previous experience assisting with payroll processing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience reviewing and adjusting timesheets
• Familiarity with payroll deposits is a plus
• Experience with payroll software preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
