Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) is seeking a full-time HR & Payroll Administrator. This role is responsible for supporting the Human Resources and Finance departments by ensuring compliance with multi-state employment regulations, payroll tax requirements, and labor laws. This role manages state employer registrations, payroll tax compliance, employee payroll administration, and payroll processing support while maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations. This position assists with special projects related to HR operations, compliance, and payroll process improvements.

We are looking for an individual to support day-to-day HR and payroll operations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to well‑organized, compliant, and employee‑centered HR and payroll practices across the organization.
This is a remote position with an option to work from our Cambridge, MA, office, which is accessible by public transportation. HSRI does not permit remote work arrangements based in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and outside the United States. Must have unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
HSRI offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
$57,200- $75,000
Pay is commensurate with skills and experience.
