Job summary

Colorado State University’s CVMBS Human Resources partners to provide expert employee relations and performance management support for ~2200 employees across faculty and staff. The HRP consults with managers, mentors departmental teams, and leads initiatives to foster an inclusive, high-performance work environment.

The role delivers training and development, analyzes HR data to drive improvements, and partners with university offices to align policies with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a closely related field.
• Minimum five years of broad HR generalist experience.
• Experience in employee relations and performance management.
• Proficiency with HR technology (HCM, TMS, LMS, HRIS).
• Experience developing and delivering training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and guidance on complex employee relations matters, coordinating partnerships and resources across the organization.
• Support employee engagement and workplace initiatives for ~2200 CVMBS employees.
• Advise and partner with supervisors, managers, and departmental HR teams on performance management strategies.
• Oversee and continuously improve performance management systems and processes, partnering with university HR and leadership to align practices, support organizational effectiveness, and drive change management initiatives.
