HR Operations Representative

Salary Range: $52,000 - $65,000 Annually

Position Summary

Sun Chemical is seeking an HR Operations Representative to support the day-to-day administration of Human Resources processes and programs. In this role, you will serve as a key resource for employees and managers by providing timely support, maintaining employee data, coordinating HR transactions, and helping ensure a positive employee experience.

This position is ideal for an HR professional with hands‑on experience in an HR customer service, HR shared services, or HR call center environment supporting employees and managers with questions related to payroll, benefits, leave administration, short‑term disability (STD), and other HR programs. Successful candidates will be highly organized, customer‑focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, leave administration, and other HR programs.
• Manage a high volume of requests received through phone, email, shared mailboxes, and HR service systems.
• Support and maintain HR systems, processes, and employee records.
• Provide user support and guidance related to HR systems and processes.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities.

What We’re Looking For

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
• Experience in an HR customer service, HR shared services, or HR-focused call center environment supporting employees and managers with inquiries related to payroll, benefits, short‑term disability (STD), leave administration, HR policies, and other HR programs is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Language Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
