Job summary

Thrivent Financial in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking an HR Operations Effectiveness Analyst to implement and support processes for the HR Operations team and Center of Excellence requirements within the Product Operating Model. You will articulate opportunities, manage roadmaps, and create dashboards to measure performance.

The role emphasizes CI, process improvement, risk identification, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver value and maintain excellent client service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, communications, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, or related area.
  • Strong strategy execution and project management skills with adaptability to change.
  • Data-driven decision maker with strong judgement and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage content/knowledge tools and ensure information is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
  • Partner on CI initiatives, including root cause analysis and process improvement.
  • Administer operational workflow efficiency and monitor controls.
  • Develop dashboards and performance metrics for decision making.
  • Onboard/transition processes from COE and partners to HR Operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve the employee experience with process and technology.

The HR Operations Effectiveness Analyst is responsible for implementing and supporting processes and solutions, used by the HR Operations team, to effectively meet HR division and Center of Excellence requirements while providing for the operational needs of the Product Operating Model.The incumbent must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and partner effectively. The incumbent will be relied on to deliver on key initiatives and must develop and manage work plans/roadmaps.The incumbent will be responsible to articulate opportunities and resources required, initiate work and provide progress updates and track metrics/create dashboards to offer insights for decision-making and measure performance.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage content/knowledge tools and resources and ensure information is accurate, accessible, and up to datePartner on continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, including root case analysis and process improvementAdminister operational workflow efficiencySeek input from COE partners and HR Operations team members and jointly Identify risks and implement and monitor HR Operations controlsWork with leadership to establish performance metrics, partner to create dashboards and communicate performance outcomesComplete Quality Assurance evaluations of HR Service Center RepresentativesSolicit feedback from business process owners and enhance process by which operational business tasks are completedOnboard/transition processes from COE and other partners to be administered by HR OperationsPartner with cross-functional entities to improve the employee experience with process and technology, deliver value and provide excellent client serviceModel Thrivent’s leadership competencies – Model the Way, Rally the Team, and Deliver Outcomes.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Required:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, communications, or related field; or equivalent work experience3+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, or related areaStrong strategy execution/implementation, organization, and project management skills with demonstrated ability to adapt to change and reprioritize plansStrong business acumen, and strength in execution with excellenceData-driven decision maker with strong personal and professional judgementStrong collaboration skills with the ability to partner with others at all levels within the organizationExperience in a contact center environment with a solid understanding of HR processes and practicesAbility to quickly learn, manage, and improve complex business processesStrong organization and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and complianceEffectively manage competing priorities and shifting demandsMaintain structure and accountability while remaining adaptable to changeTeam player - actively collaborate and support the team during peak workloads or transitionsCommunicative and work well independentlyProficient in MS office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookDemonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and uphold the highest standards of confidentialityAbility to travel occasionally for key meetings or initiativesPreferred:Workday experienceCase Management tool experienceFamiliarity with financial servicesStrong knowledge of key messages, insights, and data visualization techniquesAbility to articulate and represent a complex strategy in a simple and understandable mannerExperience with foundational HR data, HR concepts/practices, HR information systems and applicationsA strong interest in growing and developing in the HR field; strong research and analytical skills are a plusContinuous Improvement / Lean Six Sigma experiencePay TransparencyThrivent’s long-term growth depends on attracting, rewarding, and retaining people who are committed to helping others thrive with purpose. The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $70,434.00 - $95,294.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions.
