Job summary

Leidos in Reston, VA is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead a dynamic HRBP team and partner with clients and HR centers of excellence. You will develop and deploy HR strategies to enhance organizational performance and growth, while driving proactive employee relations and data-driven decisions.

You will influence senior leaders, manage multiple initiatives, and help deliver talent development, workforce strategy, and performance management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Broad HR subject matter expertise including significant experience as HR Generalist/Business Partner.
• Experience developing and delivering HR strategies and solutions for client area, being proactive and collaborative.
• Experienced people leader with ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen with ability to analyze data to support decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, consult, coach and influence senior leaders.
• Strong employee relations experience.
• Experience leading and driving change within client groups.
• Strong project management and ability to execute multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to distill complex issues into executive-level presentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel.
• Experience in using AI to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Leidos is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and partner with a dynamic business in a fast-paced environment to help design and deliver HR strategies and solutions to drive organizational performance and growth.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead an HRBP team and partner with clients, HR functional Centers of Excellence, and other team members to develop and implement HR strategies, approaches and day‑to‑day actions in the areas of employee engagement, employee relations, talent development, leadership development, workforce strategy, strategic talent acquisition, new business proposals, organization effectiveness, change leadership, total rewards, culture, performance management, etc.
• Utilize data analytics to understand, measure and continuously improve organizational effectiveness
• The HR Manager will also serve as a key leader of the Business Area and Sector HR teams and will have the opportunity to lead or participate in initiatives impacting the larger organization.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with more than 8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent degree/experience combination).
• Broad HR subject matter expertise including significant experience as HR Generalist/Business Partner.
• Experience developing and delivering HR strategies and solutions for client area, being proactive, resourceful, creative, and collaborative to achieve positive results.
• Experienced people leader with ability to build, develop, and lead high‑performing teams.

Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
