Job summary

Safran DSI is seeking a Human Resources Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting employee data, system access, and recordkeeping across a multi-business unit organization in Bedford, NH. You will assist with annual internship programs, HR automation projects, SOPs, and job descriptions, and learn to navigate HR systems while protecting confidentiality.

US citizens or permanent residents favored; pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the HR Coordinator and HR Operations & Payroll Manager to assist in the daily management of employee data, records, and system access
• Assist in scanning, renaming, and organizing electronic files to support efficient record management across multiple business units
• Assist in wrapping up year-end processes by organizing and archiving related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Actively contribute to various HR automation projects, supporting process improvements and efficiencies
• Assist in updating intern careers page and increasing awareness and attractiveness as an employer
• Play a key role in organizing and coordinating events for the Annual Internship Program, while also participating as an engaged member of the program
• Support HR cleanup projects focused on ensuring consistency in systems by reviewing and standardizing data across all business units
• Learn to navigate HR systems to create employee profiles, draft SOPs, and complete other system-related activities
• Support efforts to standardize job descriptions across business units, ensuring clarity and alignment
• Partner with the HR team to administer the annual employee satisfaction survey and present and analyze the results to identify actionable insights for improvement
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of HR Operations by participating in day-to-day tasks and strategic initiatives
• Other duties as assigned
