Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (MBV Charleston) in South Carolina seeks a Human Resources Intern to support the Head of HR and HR Management Team on a range of HR programs and projects. The role offers exposure to onboarding, data audits, and process improvements within a global mobility company.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe).
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proactive and able to work independently.
Experience working in a multicultural environment.
Desire for continuous development and learning.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Recent graduate or junior/senior pursuing HR/Business Administration/Organizational Leadership/Communication.
Available for at least 6 months, up to 11 months.
Preferred start date: January 2026.
Hourly rate: $20.00/hr for internship program.

Responsibilities

Provides support to the Head of HR and HR Management Team with HR programs and projects.
Assist in onboarding processes and data setup for reports and statistics.
Support planning, organization, execution, and communication of HR Harmonization projects.
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Process paperwork for HR functions according to procedures.
Maintain confidential records and handle client requests with quality solutions.
Proofread documents for the team; coordinate meetings and project concepts.
Participate in regular team meetings and other duties as assigned.
