Job summary

Dana Corp in Napoleon, Ohio, is seeking an HR intern at our final assembly plant supporting Ford Bronco and Ranger operations. The role focuses on onboarding, candidate tracking, and HR data entry to support hourly employees.

The successful candidate will be enrolled in a bachelor’s program (HR preferred) with strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This is an on-site role at the Napoleon facility.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in bachelor's program, preference with specialization in Human Resources.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and procedure manuals and operating instructions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint experience is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new hire orientation and on-boarding for hourly team members.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system and process hourly candidates (select, interview, hire).
  • Enter and modify employees in HR systems and create/maintain personnel folders.
  • Conduct interviews for various positions and assist HR with data entry and collection.
  • Provide back-up within HR and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

This position is located in Napoleon, Ohio. The facility is a final assembly plant for Ford Bronco and Ranger products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct new Hire Orientation and on-boarding process for new team members including presenting, I-9 processing, badge creation.
  • Applicant tracking system maintenance and processing which includes selecting, interviewing, and processing hourly candidates.
  • Enter and modify employees in various HR systems.
  • Create and maintain personnel folders.
  • Conduct interviews for various positions.
  • Assist HR department with data entry and collection.
  • Provide back-up within the department and perform other duties as assigned
