Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a dynamic HR Intern (Master’s/PhD track) to support key business initiatives in our Atlanta office. Report to the VP of Talent and Development and gain exposure to real HR projects during a 10–12 week internship.

You will work on performance management, analytics, HRIS support, and engagement initiatives while building leadership, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills across the HR function.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Industrial/Organizational Psychology Master’s or PhD program.
• GPA minimum of 3.0 is required.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Because the HR function is constantly evolving, we are looking for a dynamic HR INTERN (Master’s student and/or PhD track) in our Atlanta office to support key business initiatives. The intern will report directly to the VP of Talent and Development and should be eager to learn and make an impact.

Essential Function - Roles/Responsibilities

The experience is designed to provide opportunities to work directly with the HR team on the following potential projects:

• Performance Management
• Human Resource Analytics
• Assistance with HRIS Implementation
• Engagement Survey Rollout/Action Planning

As an intern, you will have exposure to real projects and will play a crucial role in the decision-making process. The experience will include:

• Valuable project management experience

What will I gain from the internship?

You will gain an understanding of the Altium Packaging business and a wealth of functional HR experience to develop leadership skills, cross-functional collaboration, presentation & public speaking skills, and experience with HR technology. Our interns participate in projects that add tremendous value to the company such as: performance management, data analysis, HRIS, M&A, employee engagement, total rewards, and talent acquisition. The skills you develop from this internship will serve you well in the rest of your HR education, as well as in your professional life.

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Qualifications

Enrolled in an Industrial Organizational Psychology Master’s Degree or PhD program. GPA minimum of 3.0 is required. Must be available to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks, though 12 weeks is preferred (May-August) Strong candidates will also exhibit sound leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
