You’ll collaborate on staffing needs, onboarding, training, policy guidance, payroll, and audits, while promoting an inclusive culture. This role emphasizes data integrity and strong cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management, or related field with 2+ years of related experience.
• Solid understanding of employment law practices at federal, state, and local levels.
• Discretion with confidential information and professional integrity at all times.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Foster positive employee relations and conduct workplace investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with plant management on retention and HR metrics; support payroll and onboarding.
• Communicate Smithfield’s guiding principles and provide HR resources to staff.
• Assist audits and maintain accurate HR data in HRIS systems.
• Support HR policies, records management, and workforce planning with leadership.
