Job summary

Filtrona is seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist in Greensboro, NC to manage payroll, onboarding/offboarding, benefits enrollment, and HR data accuracy.

You will act as the first point of contact for employees, support multi-state payroll, and coordinate recruitment with external vendors in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of payroll or 5+ years HR experience, strong analytics, and familiarity with Paychex, Workday or ADP; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll-related experience or 5+ years HR experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and payroll systems.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees with accuracy.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities and maintain files.
• Administer benefits enrollment and open enrollment events.
• Coordinate recruitment for hourly staff with third-party vendors.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee queries with confidentiality.
