Job summary

University of Florida College of Pharmacy is seeking an HR Generalist II to support a broad range of human resources functions for faculty and staff. Under the Director of Human Resources, you will provide outstanding service on policies, classification, recruitment, payroll, visas, benefits, leave and general employee support.

Responsibilities include HR support, recruitment, performance management, postdoc development tracking, payroll & leave processing, and visa sponsorship/compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preference for strong time management and organizational skills, data analysis, and customer-focused service.
  • Ability to interact professionally with UF administration, faculty and staff and represent the COP well.

Responsibilities

  • General HR support and maintaining personnel files; assist with benefits questions and compliance.
  • Recruitment: manage postings, screen applicants, interview, and onboarding processes.
  • Performance management: track evaluations and support timely reviews.
  • Postdoc development tracking and NIH-based raises as part of annual reviews.
  • Payroll, leave processing, and leave-related forms; respond to payroll inquiries.
  • Immigration sponsorship and compliance for visas and I-9 reverification.
