Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics seeks an HR Generalist I for our Chandler, AZ manufacturing site. You will partner with leaders, handle non-exempt recruiting, compliance, workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes, and support HR projects to improve efficiency.

The role requires confidentiality, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of state and federal HR laws, with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

This role delivers frontline guidance on employee relations, compliance, staffing, and workforce programs while collaborating closely with senior HR team members to drive consistent, fair, and development-focused HR practices. The HR Generalist manages non-exempt recruiting, oversees critical compliance activities, supports Workers’ Compensation and return-to-work processes, and contributes to organizational effectiveness through project-based initiatives.**HR Generalist I Essential Functions:*** Serve as HR point of contact and first line support for all Human Resources functions within defined client group(s)* Own non-exempt recruiting and coordinate temporary staffing with our third-party service provider; Manage the applicant tracking system and communication between candidate and hiring manager* Ensure compliance across the Crane Aerospace & Electronics Group with requirements across internal and external programs, including FAA Drug-Free Workplace, ADA, payroll audits, compliance training, etc* Oversee Workers Compensation, Return-to-Work and other like programs, interacting closely and directly with employees, leadership and third party service providers to support employees and mitigate cost* Serve as HR/Leadership sponsor for the local Employee Activities Committee* Variety of project-based work, including but not limited to organization/efficiency improvement for the HR Group, staffing support, talent management and organizational structure and development**Minimum Qualifications:*** *Experience*: Previous HR and administrative experience preferred* *Knowledge*: Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with HR Generalist knowledge required including applicable state and federal laws* *Skills/Abilities*: Ability to handle highly confidential information and manage information with utmost integrity.
