About The Role

The HR Generalist supports day-to-day human resources functions in a facility-based aerospace environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems is required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or another regulated industry is preferred. Familiarity with production or facility-based workforces, HR compliance documentation, personnel files, and internal audits is also beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain HR records and support compliance with applicable federal and New Mexico requirements, company policies, and established procedures. Assist with internal audits, required reporting, HR documentation, and the communication or implementation of policies. Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on routine HR questions and policy matters.
  • Conduct workplace investigations into employee complaints, potential policy violations, and other employee relations concerns. Document findings and recommend appropriate next steps while protecting sensitive information. Support employees and management in addressing workplace concerns and help supervisors apply HR policies consistently.
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation reporting and related documentation with employees, management, and insurance providers. Maintain accurate claim records and support communication throughout the process. Manage onboarding activities, including new-hire paperwork, orientation, employment documents, and policy acknowledgments. Coordinate offboarding documentation and termination paperwork with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Administer employee benefits processes, assist with enrollment and related documentation, respond to employee questions, and coordinate with benefits providers as needed. Provide daily HR administrative support, maintain employee information in HR systems, assist with reporting and special projects, and take on additional duties as business needs require. Responsibilities may evolve and are not limited to the duties described here.
