Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in HR or related field, 3–5 yearsHR experience, and familiarity with ADP Payroll and HRIS. Expect a 9–6 or 10–7 schedule, exempt status, and strong ethics.

8 Paid Holidays plus closed (with pay) for a week during the winter break!

15 days per year accrued PTO. Accrued time is available to use immediately!

Annual Salary: $92,500 - $120,000

Hours: 9am - 6pm or 10am - 7pm Monday - Friday

Position

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for managing the daily functions of the Human Resource department, including the oversight, administration, and coordination of employment, employee relations, benefits, complaints, and problem resolution.

HR Generalist will:

• Provide assistance and counsel to management on employee relations issues.
• Administer, coordinate, and track approved LOAs, L&I, light duty, and Worker's Compensation programs.
• Assist in managing employee records and employment documents, including but not limited to onboarding, benefits, and termination documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Experience managing all types of leaves.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic principles and practices of human resources.
• Previous employee relations experience, including but not limited to assisting management with the administration of progressive disciplinary policies and investigating and responding to employee concerns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse workforce.
• Capable of working and interacting with all employee levels, both internal and external business partners.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and delegate them when appropriate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity and professionalism and uphold the company's ethical standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Customer-centric focus and advanced customer service skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Associate's degree (AA) plus two years of exempt-level experience may be used in lieu of the above.

Preferred Experience:

• Three to five years of prior HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
• Prior work experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry is preferred.
• Prior experience working with ADP Payroll, and Attendance Enterprise preferred.

Computer Skills

• Expert user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
• Prior experience with a Payroll or HRIS database is preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:

• PHR or SHRM certification preferred.

SEKISUI Aerospace is required by Washington law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Washington resident. Pay ranges may be higher or lower for non-resident WA employees, based on the market data for their region, allowing us to pay employees competitively in different geographic markets.
