Job Title: HR Director

Join us at McCarthy Insurance Group, Inc as an HR Director in Midtown Manhattan. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated HR professional to lead and develop the HR function within our growing credit investing firm. The HR Director will report directly to the CEO and serve as the primary HR contact for all employees. Currently, this role does not have direct reports but has the potential to grow into a managerial position.

Responsibilities:

• Recruiting: Manage full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening candidates to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• HR Support: Act as the main HR contact for employees, addressing HR-related matters.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Manage employee relations to foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Manage employee benefits programs.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Report directly to the CEO.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 5-10 years of progressive HR experience.
• Proven recruiting experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and practices.
• Experience with Jet Screening is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Midtown Manhattan.
• Full-time availability.
• Experience in the financial services industry, especially credit investing, is a plus.
