Job summary

The Home Depot in Atlanta seeks an HR Data Engineer to build and govern a trusted HR data foundation used by People Analytics, Data Science, and HR leaders. You’ll engineer tested, version-controlled data pipelines in Google BigQuery, control access to sensitive HR/payroll data, and document data assets for easy discovery.

You will lead request intake, serve as first responder when a pipeline breaks, and drive analytical insights that shape HR decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with HR, payroll, or workforce data is preferred.
• Experience with Google BigQuery and data pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills and data visualization experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze HR, Payroll and related data to identify trends and root causes.
• Coordinate design, development and implementation of analytical tools and solutions.
• Gather requirements, maintain docs, and develop project plans for Analytics projects.
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visuals for HR clients and leaders.
• Educate business leaders on availability and use of analytical tools and data assets.
