The Principal HR Data Analyst at Oracle is a strategic and analytical role dedicated to leveraging advanced data science techniques and workforce insights to influence HR strategies and business decisions. This position involves partnering closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), HR leaders, and business stakeholders to address complex talent management, workforce planning, and organizational questions. The ideal candidate will utilize their strong analytical skills, business acumen, and technical expertise to transform large, complex datasets into meaningful insights, forecasts, and scenarios that support critical HR initiatives and organizational growth.
This role requires a proactive approach to identifying emerging workforce trends, developing predictive models, and applying innovative analytical techniques such as AI and machine learning. The Principal HR Data Analyst will also ensure the responsible handling of sensitive employee data, adhering to data governance and privacy standards. The position offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic HR and business decisions through data‑driven insights, contributing to Oracle’s continued leadership in the industry.
The successful candidate will possess an advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Data Management, Economics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in people analytics, workforce planning, or related analytical disciplines is required. Demonstrated expertise in statistical modeling, forecasting, predictive analytics, and scenario analysis is essential. Experience with applying AI, machine learning, or generative AI to business workflows is highly desirable.
Proficiency in analyzing compensation, workforce costs, hiring, attrition, and other financial workforce measures is necessary. Candidates should have hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Analytics Cloud. Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, R, advanced Excel, and statistical techniques are required. The ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences is critical for success in this role.
