Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking an HR Services Coordinator to provide frontline support at the Employee Service Center in a hybrid role. You’ll handle onboarding tasks, I-9 processing, fingerprinting, and badge creation while assisting HR colleagues and employee groups with information and problem resolution.

The position emphasizes data accuracy, program support, and collaboration with HR teams to improve workflows and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
  • Call Center and customer service experience strongly preferred.

  • Customer Service- Serve as a primary point of contact and provides assistance, information and support to HR colleagues, client groups, managers and employees.
  • Customer Facing Support – HR Front Desk activities including onboarding, I-9 processing, parking information, fingerprinting and badge creation.
  • Program Support: Plan, document, and implement tasks; coordinate meetings and events; develop reports and updates; maintain project files.
  • Data and Systems- Support HR systems changes, data integrity, auditing information, and reporting.

Primary Location Lincoln Building Department Human Resources Operations Shift Day (United States of America) Schedule Full time Weekly Hours 40 FTE 1 Employee Status Regular *Expected Starting Pay Range $23.90 - $29.88 *Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on‑call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.

Human Resources Coordinator – Employee Service Center Hybrid Position

Requires full proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to perform a range of tasks. Non-routine problems are solved by applying precedents and existing processes to new situations. Identifies key issues and patterns from partial or conflicting data. Works under limited supervision for routine situations. May act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Performance Improvement- Identifies and communicates workflow suggestions/concerns and provides input toward resolution to maximize efficiency.
  • Customer Service- Serve as a primary point of contact and provides assistance, information and support to HR colleagues, client groups, managers and employees. Research and participate in the resolution of employee questions and issues received through emails and phone support. Disseminate information. Anticipate needs and facilitate solutions to issues in collaboration with other HR staff.
  • Customer Facing Support – Serves as point of contact completing responsibilities while working the HR Front Desk which include, but are not limited to, onboarding new hires through I-9 Employment Verification processing, providing parking information, completion of fingerprinting, and creation of badges.
  • Program Support: Support department programs, processes and initiatives through effective planning, documentation and implementation of required tasks. Set priorities for tasks based on importance and urgency. Coordinate meetings and events. Develops reports and updates, create/maintain project files. Writes and edits content for manager and employee communication, intranet site, systems and other communication materials.
  • Data and Systems- Participate in the development, testing and implementation of HR systems including system changes and upgrades. Maintain, input and ensure integrity of data records related to the HR systems. Serve as a resource to HR and Client Groups regarding HR systems and information; participate in training staff and extracting reports and data. Audit information as necessary to ensure accuracy of information. Provides support and assistance to team members, managers and employees for Human Resource programs.
Job Qualifications
