The Finish Line USA, Inc. is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the North America People Regional Business Services team, delivering world-class employee service and handling HR processes for JD Finish Line’s U.S. businesses.
Responsibilities include responding to tickets, onboarding, I-9/ E-Verify compliance, data audits, and coordinating with Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS. Strong communication and attention to detail are required.
The HR Coordinator position is a key, employee facing role within the JD North America People Regional Business Services model. The Regional Business Services function is responsible for supporting all US businesses within the JD Group, including JD Sports, Finish Line, Finish Line Macy’s, Shoe Palace, Nice Kicks, Downtown Locker Room (DTLR), and Hibbett. This position provides world class "customer" service to employees, and delivers a premium employee experience, by responding to service tickets, assisting with compliance-related issues, and managing various HR processes.
This position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key responsibilities include responding to tickets, emails, and/or calls to resolve employee issues, or escalating these issues to specialist teams within the People Department.
The HR Coordinator conducts periodic data audits, manages invoicing for HR activities and supports special HR and compliance projects. This role involves regular interaction with business leaders, supervisors, and employees to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and the enhancement of the employee experience. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line’s core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following main duties:
Associate’s degree (A.S.) from a two-year college or university and at least 1 – 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant experience can come in a plethora of different environments, including customer facing service industries like retail, customer service industries like a call center, HR roles, or any other administrative support positions. Internal JD Group experience is always preferred.
Should have strong knowledge and abilities with end user computing platforms like Microsoft/Google Suite applications and ticketing management systems. Must be able to navigate and administer HRIS solutions, with Workday experience being a plus.
Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with the company’s policies are required for the position. Average work week is 35-40 hours, which can vary depending on business needs. The work environment for this position is a moderately noisy office setting. Employees may be asked to perform additional duties outside of normal job scope on a temporary basis per company policy.
