Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a subject matter expert for TotalSource HR and Benefits products. You will provide universal HR and benefits support to clients, employees and internal staff, ensuring compliant policies and timely service delivery.

You will collaborate with HR partners and internal teams to align employment policies with laws, manage handbook projects, and serve as a primary contact for compliance inquiries. This role requires strong analytical skills and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business/HR preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR or CEBS certification preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of HR policies, employment law and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients' HR, employee handbook and drug-free workplace practices; identify gaps and provide recommendations to maximize client satisfaction and compliance.
  • Coordinate with HR Business Partners and clients to ensure policies align with state and federal laws; ensure proper policy execution.
  • Serve as main contact for handbook, drug testing and related compliance inquiries; maintain relationships with clients, vendors and internal associates.
  • Deliver HR/compliance services per ADP SLAs; resolve discrepancies and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving HR laws and policies.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Serves as the subject matter expert for ADP TotalSource's HR and Benefit products and services. Provides universal HR and Benefits support to ADP TotalSource clients, employees and internal associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES - RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Evaluates clients' current HR/Employee Handbook/Drug-Free Workplace practices and policies. Identifies gaps and inefficiencies. Provides recommendations by utilizing ADP HR products and services, to maximize client satisfaction and compliance. Assists clients and internal associates with developing and implementing compliant HR/Time Off policies. Manages assigned accounts based on client needs.
  • Consults with HR Business Partners, ADP internal departments, and clients to ensure client employment/handbook/drug testing policies are aligned with appropriate state and federal laws and regulations. Ensures proper execution of policies and business rules which support ADP, client needs and state and federal laws.
  • Exercises judgment and makes effective decisions when interpreting employment policies and regulations. Communicates with clients in regards to policies, and best practices. Analyzes and audits cases to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of compliant employee handbook.
  • Serves as a main point of contact for all employee handbook, Drug Free Workplace (DFWP), background checks and related compliance services inquiries and issues, both internally and externally. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with clients, vendors and internal associates.
  • Delivers HR/Compliance services according to ADP’s Service Level Agreements. Provides a high level of quality service to clients, vendors and internal associates. Identifies discrepancies and follows up to resolve. Resolves escalated issues through problem solving, ownership and follow through.
  • Maintains current knowledge of evolving HR, drug testing, and policy legislations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION - CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • All areas preferred and Major Area of Concentration are Business or HR.
  • Other education or certification requirements preferred are PHR, SPHR or CEBS Certification.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 3 - 5 Years and Prior experience in Client Service, HR or Benefits.
Preferences:
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to HR/Employment Policies, drug testing and background check laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization. Ability to build internal and external relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior organizational skills. Excellent attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Highly adaptable.
  • Active listening skills. Ability to remain empathetic.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task. Must be able to work under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and handle inbound calls from clients and/or internal partners.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $18.56 - USD $34.66 / Hour*

*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
