Job summary

University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada seeks an HR Business Partner to align HR strategies with organizational goals across community hospitals.

You will partner with management and the HR center of excellence to deliver talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and policy guidance while coaching leaders and analyzing workforce data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, administration/management or related field required.
  • Three (3) years of multi-disciplinary human resource experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the human resource center of excellence to provide innovative human resource solutions.
  • Implements methods to facilitate assigned project completion, organizational change, and business transformation. Executes the delivery of value-added human resource services to include talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and project management.
  • Coordinates and resolves employee relations issues. Coaches managers regarding effective performance management and progressive discipline processes and tools.
  • Collaborates in the development, interpretation, and administration of human resources policies, procedures and practices in accordance with UMMC objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
  • Prepares reports and analyzes data for use in discussions with senior management regarding critical topics such as attrition, recruiting, compensation, and benefits. Works with senior business partners, client groups, and compensation to develop and/or assess the effectiveness of career paths, job ladders, and job descriptions to ensure the validity and consistency of use within the assigned business units.
  • Responds to employee and management inquiries regarding the organization's policies, procedures, and programs

Job Summary

Education & Experience
