Job summary

Mativ is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join our site leadership team in the United States. The role reports to the HR Director with a dotted line to the facility leader and drives HR strategy and operational plans for the site.

The candidate will lead HR activities, recruit, manage performance and succession, oversee employee relations, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with site leadership on workforce planning and training initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in human resources or business management.
  • 7-10 years HR Generalist experience; 3+ years of HR Management.
  • Strong background in practicing HR in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be bi-lingual(English/Spanish).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.).
  • Knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Labor relations background.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
  • Experience working with sponsored employees and immigration processes.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building techniques.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Must be trustworthy and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience with HRIS Systems.
  • Supervised a minimum of 1 direct report in the past.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site during the core hours (remote work not available).

  • Lead and manage the recruitment process from the recruitment branding and applicant tracking to ensure we hire high performing talent aligning with company values and principles.
  • Drive performance management and succession planning for the site.
  • Partner with site leadership team to drive HR strategies aligned to meet site goals and priorities.
  • Develop and drive training initiatives
  • Lead and manage all employee relations issues, including fostering a culture where employees feel productive and valuable contributors to the business.
  • Serve as the site expert for all workforce planning issues.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance on all federal, state and local regulations throughout the site are applied and adhered to.
  • Work closely with the Human Resources team on global or domestic Human Resources projects as needed.
  • Evaluate and modernize current systems, policies and practices to reflect current best practices within the Human Resources function.
  • Work through the sponsorship process with current employees that require support

Salary Expectations:

Salary range - $100,000 - $120,000 USD

Bonus potential 10%
