The Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to our diverse client base. This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic HR leadership with hands-on support, helping businesses shape their people strategies while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Northern NJ / NYC area, with flexibility for remote work and periodic on-site client meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned clients, building trusted relationships with leadership.
  • Advise executives on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, engagement, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Support clients with talent acquisition, onboarding, and professional development programs.
  • Recommend competitive compensation structures and benefits packages.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, New Jersey, and New York employment laws, as well as local regulations.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and performance frameworks.
  • Design scalable processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of HR leadership or consulting experience (fractional/multi-client strongly preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, particularly in NJ and NY.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience with a PEO or outsourced HR provider is a plus.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and skilled at managing multiple client priorities.
