X-Rite Pantone, a Veralto company, is seeking an HR Business Partner to act as coach, strategic partner, and advisor to front-line managers. Based at our Grand Rapids HQ, you will drive talent processes, support development of future leaders, and foster an inclusive culture across a global HR team.

The role emphasizes change management and positive associate relations, with a hybrid work setup and a strong focus on compliance and continuous improvement within the Veralto system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience supporting people leaders and associates, preferably in an operations or manufacturing environment.
• Experience providing coaching and support to managers to enable an engagement-focused culture with DE&I and inclusion.
• Experience executing change management plans to facilitate smooth transitions and clear purpose.
• Ability to collaborate with HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services, programs, and policies in compliance with legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s talent processes within your client group, advocate and champion talent moves, develop future leaders, attract external candidates.
• Provide counsel to people leaders and teams based on client knowledge and priorities; ensure compliance with local laws and policies; promote Veralto/X-Rite Pantone culture.
• Understand HR KPIs, develop action plans, and address gaps; coach managers on process execution (P4G, D4G).
• Act as advocate for associates, drive positive employee relations, support issue resolution, and manage relations matters per policy and law.

Reporting to the Vice President of Global HR, the HR Business Partner, will act as a coach, strategic partner and an advisor to front line managers and as an advocate for our associates. You will be part of a dynamic global HR team that is highly involved in the developing of strategy to address pertinent business issues. You will gain business understanding by immersing yourself at gemba, where the work is done, while driving continuous improvement through our Veralto Enterprise System (VES) framework. This role is hybrid, based at X-Rite Pantone's global headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Talent Developer

• Lead the X-Rite Pantone organization and Veralto talent processes within your client group. You will thoroughly know the talent, advocate, and champion talent moves, support the development of future leaders, cultivate, and attract external candidates.

Consultant & Coach

• Based on the deep knowledge of the client group and the talent and organization priorities, provides counsel to their people leaders and teams.
• Ensures compliance with employee related local law, HR & Company policies.
• Champions Veralto/X-Rite Pantone culture and sets the tone to foster positive associate relations.

Process Execution

• Understand and interpret key HR KPI’s. Develop action plans and counter measures to address any gaps.
• Coach managers on effective process execution (Performance for Growth (P4G), Development for Growth (D4G), etc.).

Employee Advocate

• Act as an advocate for associates driving positive employee relations, supporting issues resolution, and building an impactful associate experience.
• Manage employee relations matters including performance issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in compliance with company policy and legal requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of HR experience supporting people leaders and associates, preferably in an operations or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in providing coaching and support to managers to enable an environment that supports a culture that enhances engagement, embraces DE&I philosophies, and fosters inclusion.
• Proven ability to support the execution of change management plans to facilitate smooth transitions and clarity of purpose.
• Proven ability to collaborate with the HR team to ensure the effective delivery of HR services, programs, and policies ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.

It would be nice if you also possess:

• Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday or similar systems
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Kaizen, VES, Lean) applied within an HR context

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $ 80,000 - $ 88,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
