Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is seeking an HR Analytics professional to design, implement, analyze data and reporting mechanisms that illuminate HR issues, trends, and forecasting. You will develop new reports, dashboards and visualizations, expanding on existing metrics while presenting recommendations for data improvement.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with large data sets, and collaboration with senior management across functions in Buffalo, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 2+ years of relevant work experience or 6 years combined education/experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge (e.g., VBA, macros, data techniques)
• Proven ability to manage and analyze large data sets with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce high complexity reports and dashboards
• Identify trends and engage stakeholders to develop project plans
• Lead creation and maintenance of reporting dashboards
• Analyze large data sets and communicate insights to management
• Provide consultation on report/analysis requests
• Ensure compliance with risk controls and regulatory standards
