Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services in Minnesota is seeking a scientist to support our client’s lab testing needs with 1+ year of HPLC experience. This role offers Monday–Friday schedules and hourly compensation.

You will organize analyses, document work in study records, perform basic instrument troubleshooting, prepare samples and standard curves, and participate in project meetings while maintaining a safe, compliant laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field.
• 1+ year of GxP experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; standard curve and sample prep.
• Wet chemistry bench skills and lab documentation experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Flexibility and strong time management.
• 1+ year of HPLC experience preferred.
• Experience with test method development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts analyses independently and in compliance with methods and SOPs.
• Documents work and maintains study documents and laboratory records.
• Independently troubleshoots laboratory equipment and software for tasks.
• Prepares samples and standard curves.
• Participates in project meetings and contributes to team planning.
• Performs workload daily and handles multiple assignments.
• Maintains a safe and clean laboratory environment.
• Identifies deviations and informs leadership; participates in corrective actions.
