We’re looking for a HPC Support Engineer to join our IT team in Houston. The role of the HPC Engineer is instrumental in supporting the HPC environment for our in‑house Reveal Development & Processing and Imaging teams. You will take ownership of our systems across the NALA region, supporting both onshore and offshore operations. Responsible for day‑to‑day troubleshooting, system administration, responding to user requests, and keeping Reveal infrastructure running reliably.
We are looking for an individual who has experience and knowledge of HPC systems with skills in Linux system administration, computer hardware and cloud who can drive change. You bring hands‑on experience in IT support, with strong Linux administration skills and knowledge of enterprise storage systems such as Lustre, ZFS or NFS. You are confident with job scheduling tools like SLURM and familiar with system monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus. You understand servers, CPUs, GPUs and networking, and ideally bring experience with Python, Git, and scripting.
You communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical colleagues, building trust and good working relationships. You are analytical, curious, and solution‑focused, enjoy working independently but also collaborate well across global teams.
