Job summary

Trilyon, Inc. in Suwanee, GA is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician 3 / Linux to support a high-performance computing environment for a leading semiconductor organization.

You will administer Linux-based data center infrastructure, manage LSF/Slurm clusters, configure server hardware, and collaborate with IT and vendors on deployments. This 12-month contract offers exposure to HPC workloads and data center operations with potential extension.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or technical IT certification preferred.
• Hands-on Linux administration and data center infrastructure experience.
• Familiarity with HPC/cluster environments and job schedulers.

Responsibilities

• Support Linux-based data center infrastructure and distributed compute environments.
• Administer LSF/Slurm clusters and analyze jobs and data.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server hardware and infrastructure.
• Assist with hardware upgrades, firmware/software patching and migrations.
• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors on deployments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Assist with OS mass deployment and configuration management.
• Support rack infrastructure, space planning and hardware moves.
• Maintain data center assets and documentation using DCIM tools.
• Assist with audits, inventory, and infrastructure monitoring.

Job description

We’re looking for a hands‑on Data Center Technician 3 / Linux professional to support a high‑performance engineering and computing environment for a leading semiconductor organization.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Linux administration, data center infrastructure, server hardware, HPC/cluster environments, and LSF/Slurm.

Contract: 12 months, with possibility of extension.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support Linux-based data center infrastructure and distributed compute environments
• Administer and maintain LSF / Slurm clusters and analyze jobs/job data
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot server hardware and infrastructure
• Support hardware upgrades, firmware/software patching and data center migrations
• Work with internal IT teams and external vendors on hardware/software deployments
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root‑cause analysis
• Support OS mass deployment and configuration management
• Assist with rack infrastructure, space planning and hardware installations/moves
• Maintain data center assets and documentation through DCIM tools
• Assist with data center audits, inventory and infrastructure monitoring
