Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Part-Time HP Retail Sales Associate to demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and nearby stores in Fort Wayne, IN. You will engage customers, tailor demonstrations, and build rapport with store staff to drive sales and brand awareness.

You will earn $17.50 per hour with a weekly performance bonus and a schedule up to 15 hours per week, with weekend availability preferred. Training is provided online and daily activities include maintaining displays and reporting insights.

Qualifications

• Six months' sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience.

Become a Part-Time HP Retail Sales Associate!

Work Location: Best Buy 228 - Fort Wayne, IN 46805

Overview: HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Retail Sales Associate in your area! In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in your local big-box retailer(s) and surrounding office supply stores. You will demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs. You will be responsible for building rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees.

Pay: $17.50 per hour + Weekly Performance Bonus (Details below.)

Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs.

Location: Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores

Job Description

• Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments
• Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
• Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
• Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggests products to fit those needs
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
• Accurately document and report sales
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations
• Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional and presentable at all times
• Responsible for submitting all paperwork completely and accurately

Performance Measurements

• Regular and prompt attendance
• Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals
• Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
