Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Portland, OR is seeking a dynamic Host to join The Hoxton Portland team in a part-time capacity. The role focuses on friendly guest greeting, seating, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience.

As a host you will manage reservations, assist guests, and collaborate with a diverse team to maintain smooth service and guest satisfaction. Prior hospitality experience is preferred and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School education minimum.
• One year in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates restaurant staff to provide fast and courteous service to guests
• Schedules dining reservations and arranges special services for diners
• Greets and escorts guests, provides menus
• Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness

• Totals receipts at end of shift

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in similar role preferred

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
