• Experience improving and implementing security controls.
• Knowledge of security standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Screen and investigate cloud-based applications for security weaknesses.
• Design and implement security responses to mitigate risk to Google users.
• Identify and amplify risk factors at the lifecycle and engineering signal level.
• Prioritize, plan, and execute risk mitigation initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate key performance metrics and provide insights on risks and process improvements.
• Coordinate with Trust and Security groups to align mitigation measures.
• Audit or present to sensitive data as part of the core role.
• Participate in on-call incident response, which may include non-standard hours (weekends, evenings).
