SynergenX Health in Houston is seeking a Supervising Physician/Medical Director to provide medical direction and clinical supervision across three Houston-area centers. The role focuses on collaborative leadership, hormone/wellness programs, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine with Texas license and DEA, you will mentor providers, participate in quality improvement, and guide clinical standards in a dynamic, multi-site clinic environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active DEA registration appropriate to the role.
• Ability to supervise and delegate prescribing.
• Strong clinical judgment and collaborative leadership.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical direction and clinical supervision for assigned NPs and PAs across three Houston-area centers.
• Be an accessible physician resource for patient assessments, laboratory findings, treatment plans, medication management, and referrals.
• Review patient charts and provide constructive feedback to support appropriate care, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Participate in provider meetings, case discussions, and quality‑improvement activities.
• Support safe prescribing practices and maintain supervision and prescriptive delegation documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to address patient safety concerns, complex cases, and opportunities to improve care.
• Help orient and mentor providers on clinical standards and treatment protocols.
• Participate in onsite clinic visits and provider collaboration according to the established supervision schedule; maintain timely communication with providers and leadership.
• Uphold patient confidentiality, professional ethics, and applicable clinical and regulatory requirements.
