Job summary

Bowman, a leading engineering firm, is seeking Electrical Engineers of all levels to join our Houston, TX team. The role provides leadership in electrical engineering, project oversight, mentorship, and driving innovation across projects.

Responsibilities include sizing equipment, performing analyses, coordinating with design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, and delivering high-quality electrical designs. Level IV and V expectations include strategic input and independent work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Professional Engineer licensure (PE) preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
• Advanced proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Understanding of power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to develop and implement electrical engineering standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment sizing & selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables.
• Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities.
• Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements.
• Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.
• Prepare, review, and approve electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring calculations, requisitions, lists, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs.
