Job summary

Repsol Renewables Services North America (RRSNA) is seeking a GIS Intern for a 12-week summer program in Downtown Houston. You will work closely with Development, Engineering, Environmental, Land, and Operations teams to provide geospatial analysis and mapping support across US projects.

The role requires enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in GIS or related fields and familiarity with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.

Qualifications

Requires enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in GIS or related field.
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online expected.
Familiarity with geodatabases, shapefiles, and data visualization techniques.

Responsibilities

Support GIS and project teams through geospatial databases, maps, and spatial datasets.
Create, edit, and manage GIS data for renewable energy projects.
Generate maps and figures for development, permitting, and stakeholder presentations.
Assist with data collection, quality control, and validation of GIS datasets.
Prepare cartographic products and web-based mapping applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project needs.
