Job summary

BGE, Inc. in Houston offers a Construction Management Internship for current students. You will be mentored by seasoned engineers and gain hands-on experience on real infrastructure projects.

As a full-time intern, you will attend targeted trainings and intern-specific activities, while applying your Civil Engineering knowledge. A strong team mindset and willingness to learn are essential as you develop professional skills here in Texas.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn industry-specific software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong collaborator who works well on a team.
• Willingness and ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Learn and be mentored by BGE employees.
• Attend events and training geared toward career development; interns will participate in intern-specific activities in addition to normal work activities.
