Legatus, a membership organization for Catholic CEOs, is seeking a Chapter Development Officer based in Houston, TX. This position will manage the process of establishing new chapters in the Houston area. Duties include:

  • Carry out duties assigned by Central Regional Vice President in relation to chapter development and maintenance of chapters in development
  • Interact with Catholic business executives during the process of introducing them to the organization
  • Invite them to membership and manage the application process
  • Engage in all aspects of the logistics necessary to conduct monthly events of the highest quality thereby assuring an excellent Legatus experience for the members month after month
  • Schedule meetings with key prospects and recruit charter members
  • Hold information nights with two to six couples in the home of bishop, rainmaker or other key charter members
  • Obtain chaplain's assistance
  • Organize and run developing chapter officer meetings
  • Hire and train chapter administrators

Education And Work Experience Qualifications Include

  • Knowledge of and loyalty to the teachings of the Catholic Church
  • High degree of maturity and professionalism while interacting with archbishops, bishops and Catholic executives at the highest level
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years of sales experience
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Must be resourceful and have the ability to adapt to a wide variety of situations
  • Exhibit positive, optimistic, willing attitude to which people are naturally drawn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Customer service oriented
