Job summary

Intuitive Machines in Houston, TX is seeking a Mid-Level Thermal Analyst to join our team supporting lunar missions. You will design, analyze, and test thermal systems for both ground and flight hardware, and contribute to TPS documentation and design review packages.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 3–7 years of spacecraft thermal analysis, with hands-on Thermal Desktop; knowledge of heat transfer and thermodynamics; experience with ANSYS Mechanical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of spacecraft thermal analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Thermal Desktop.
• Solid understanding of heat transfer and thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and run high-fidelity thermal models for mission phases.
• Design active and passive thermal control systems and select hardware.
• Support TVAC tests and correlate data with models.
• Produce TPS documentation for AIT team.
• Summarize analysis data and present results in design reviews.
• Collaborate with structures, propulsion, avionics, and power teams.
