Job summary

Turner & Townsend Energy & Natural Resources is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Houston, TX team with up to 20% travel to Eunice, NM. You will lead the full procurement process for utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects, including RFPs, negotiations, and contract documentation.

Responsibilities also include interfacing with clients and consultants, ensuring SOX controls where applicable, and coordinating with civil and EPC interfaces to manage scopes and cost

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of procurement or commercial experience in utility-scale solar, wind, or BESS, including EPC or BOP contracting.
• Experience running competitive RFPs, bid leveling, and contract negotiation for construction scopes.
• Working knowledge of HV interconnection, civil and site preparation scopes, and plant EPC interface management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full procurement process from tender development to evaluation and contract documentation.
• Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
• Issue RFPs and manage clarifications.
• Maintain attention to structure and detail.
• Collaborate, negotiate, and report on procurement activities.
• Interface with plant EPC and commercial matters.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role.
