The City and County of Honolulu is seeking a Housing-Zoning Code Inspector to work in Honolulu. This position is responsible for conducting inspections of lodging houses, residences, and other structures to ensure compliance with Housing and Zoning Codes. The role involves issuing citations, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining inspection records.

Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
Two (2) years of experience in inspectional or investigatory work or interpreting and/or applying the Building Code and related ordinances.
Possession of a valid driver’s license (Type 3/automobile) prior to appointment.
