Job summary

Goddard Riverside Community Center in New York City is seeking a part-time housing case manager to support Capitol Hall residents. The role provides light case management to help tenants maintain permanent housing and access entitlements within a supportive housing setting.

You will document services, collaborate with management, and help clients navigate Section 8 subsidies. The position runs 14 hours per week with an hourly rate of $35.79.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Experience working with homeless adults and families preferred.
• Professional or academic exposure to mental illness, substance use, and/or homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain case records with documentation of services and outcomes.
• Assist clients with entitlements and understanding housing rules and subsidies.
• Assist with rent collection and delivery to management company.
• Assist with Section 8 applications and re-certifications.
• Serve as liaison with RoCo’s management company.
• Maintain professional boundaries with a diverse client base.
• Develop and facilitate client workshops for housing readiness.
